From a blog
to a stage.

A project that turns an independent music blog into a continuous visual listening experience. Not a radio; a curated, track-by-track archive.

  1. 01 Idea

    An archive instead of a radio: three frequencies, a track-by-track selection. The name “Welcome to the Next Level” was dropped.

  2. 02 Identity

    A fluid NXT LVL logo, three frequency colours, wide grotesque type and a flat-colour visual language.

  3. 03 Web

    Design and code together: an uninterrupted player, frequency pages and a 945-track archive.

  4. 04 Launch

    Instagram profile, a set of posts and reels, and a “back online” reel when the site went live.

listening experience.

The music doesn’t stop as you move from page to page. Each frequency has its own page, colour and motion: Sunshine flows, Glitchy breaks, Bassline presses.

Identity

Three frequencies,
one flow.

The logo flows like a sound wave; the letters join into one another. Each frequency carries its own colour and motion. The logo is animated as SVG.
